Sharp Arrow Music has one major aim. To shoot its arrow up and point people to uplifting, encouraging and edifying music and movies and the source of every good gift. In the computer world there is a saying: “Garbage In = Garbage Out!”. While the human body and brain have various filters for sieving out garbage, most people seem oblivious to the poison that comes couched in deliciously sweet music or is part of an acclaimed “good” movie. Personally I believe I am probably way underestimating the negative impact of the arts, if I blamed 50% of the worlds sad condition on the impact of poison in music and movies. Stroll down any video or music store with open eyes and you will soon discern that we have made entertainment of the breaking of the ten commandments. Yet men blame even God for the state of the world and expect their partners to be faithful and violent crime against women and children not to escalate. The transformation of cities, is possible: 2Ch 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.“

WHO ARE THE REAL WE?
In terms of a an organization in a business sense, this business is owned by Gerald Sharp, but the real we refers to a group of artists who recognise that God is the source of their gifts and as each artist pours out his soul, often exposing themselves in a very vulerable way they contribute to the organization and it's edifying purpose in a very meaningful way. The very fact that the artists have chosen to pool their music, means that there is a ONESS about this group which is very special. This is not a group of egotists, but a family out to uplift the world.

LONGER TERM VISION?
We hope, in time, not only to bring you uplifting music online, but to find our way into your neighbourhood to give live concerts that will bring upliftment in an even more tangeable way. At such concerts, the promotion of the business side of the organization and its support of charity will be focused on, allowing all members to grow their businesses as they invite others to attend, and encouraging Gift Giving. We hope to uplift our communities, by supporting charities and especially orphans and missions to the poor and also by encouraging members to sponsor the poor, into the business, Sharp Arrow is such a cheap way to build a home based business. Those who are less fortunate can be helped to create a business which in the end can support charities also, moving people from being needy to being GIFT GIVERS.

A COMMENT

Today there are many artists who are "false prophets". They speak into the souls of men, woman and children, in supermarkets and department stores, in car radios. (Strongs translates the word, "Prophet", as one who speaks or sings by inspiration) ( Jer 2:8) .... and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit. We believe that all music carries spirit, even instrumental music, so we will look mainly, though not exclusively, for artists who have a meaningful relationship with God which makes them positive towards their fellow man and their music uplifting to the soul.
